A wallet suspected to be linked to the Sentient team moved 687 million SENT tokens, worth an estimated $11.52 million, to a new address on April 20, 2026.
"The transaction was identified by on-chain tracking platform Arkham Intelligence," said a researcher from the firm. "A transfer of this magnitude from a team-linked wallet is a significant event for any token."
The 687 million tokens represent 9.49% of the total circulating supply of SENT, an AI-focused cryptocurrency. The receiving wallet is a newly created address with no prior transaction history, a common tactic for preparing tokens for sale on a centralized or decentralized exchange.
This move puts the risk of insider selling back into focus for the AI token sector. A sale of this size could introduce significant selling pressure on the open market, potentially leading to a sharp price decline for SENT as market participants react to the perceived risk of a token dump. The event draws parallels to recent large transfers from team wallets of other AI tokens like Fetch.ai (FET) and SingularityNET (AGIX) which preceded price volatility.
