Antimony Resources Corp. (CSE: ATMY) (OTCQB: ATMYF) (FSE: K8J0) reported a drill intersection grading 26.9 percent antimony on May 13, a significant high-grade discovery from its ongoing exploration at the Bald Hill project in New Brunswick, Canada.
"We are very excited to get back to work on the Bald Hill Project," James Atkinson, CEO of Antimony Resources, said in a recent statement regarding the exploration program. "The soil sampling completed so far has been very effective in revealing areas of anomalous antimony."
The new result is from the third batch of assays in a winter drill program designed to test extensions of the Main Zone. A previous batch of results from the same program returned grades as high as 13.9 percent antimony, showing a pattern of high-grade discoveries. These grades are substantially higher than the 3 to 4 percent average antimony grade outlined in the project's 2025 NI 43-101 technical report, which described a conceptual target of approximately 2.7 million tonnes.
The discovery of such high-grade mineralization could materially enhance the project's economics as the company moves toward development. Antimony is a critical mineral essential for flame retardants, defense applications, and next-generation batteries. The company has targeted Q4 2026 or Q1 2027 to submit a permit application for the project.
Path to Production: 19,000-Meter Expansion and De-risking
Antimony Resources confirmed it is pushing directly into a major expansion drilling campaign rather than further definition drilling. The program includes 13,000 meters of drilling at the Bald Hill Main Zone to expand mineralization at depth and along strike, with an additional 6,000 meters planned for preliminary exploration at the nearby Marcus, BH Central, and BH South zones.
In parallel with drilling, the company is undertaking a de-risking program that includes detailed metallurgical studies, environmental baseline work in collaboration with First Nations, and a technical gap analysis by consulting firm SRK to support the permitting roadmap. According to company releases, the Bald Hill project is the highest-grade antimony deposit in North America with mineable widths indicated by drilling.
